WebCitz started working with NW Timber in 2021, when they approached our web development agency to migrate their website from Magento 2.x to Shopify. The project was initially started with a different web development agency, who didn't complete the project according to the requirements. After getting to know the company and its goals better, we made the recommendation to choose WooCommerce as the ecommerce platform instead of Shopify. The reasons mainly surrounded the client's requirement for categorization and product filtering, as well as several other 3rd-party integration requirements. The project has since launched, quite successfully, and we continue to be involved for routine website maintenance and support services.

In 1976, Lewis Judy and Toni Gilbert began a woodworking and stained glass studio in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Toni designed the furniture and built stained glass for the early projects while Lewis did the woodworking. Lewis and Toni had been in business for 15 years when they added three employees, three buildings, a wood drying kiln and eventually a gallery. In December of 2004, Northwest Timber launched its first items onto its online store, after 15 years and 6 store platforms we are still finding new ways to improve our product and service.
